Forum FAQ

Every two years, aSa invites all client companies enrolled in the aSa Subscription Plan to the aSa Software Forum. We use this time to review our software, provide skills training, exchange ideas and concepts, and plan for future development. Your participation will help you to get the most out of your system, both now and into the future.
50th Anniversary CelebrationIn 2019, we celebrate 50 years of service to our customers. We have special events planned for the forum to commemorate the milestone.
aSa.Studio. A huge focus of the forum sessions will be aSa.Studio, our next generation web-based product. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to see the tools we have developed, try them for yourself at hands-on workshops, and give us your feedback for future development.
Event App. A mobile app, available to all attendees, puts the entire aSa Software Forum at your fingertips. Create and save your own personal forum schedule, access all “handouts,” and interact with other attendees right on your phone or mobile device.
The daily sessions are 2-hour classes focused on specific aSa solutions. These classes are designed so that you can select the sessions that best fit your needs and interests. Learn more on the Sessions and Events pages.
Training Classes. The classes are geared specifically to helping you become more productive with aSa ex tools.
Hands-On Workshops. In these sessions, you'll get a chance to practice the skills you learn. We'll have computers loaded with aSa software. You and a group of your peers will work together on various exercises using aSa products.
aSa Q&A. Discuss aSa usage, integration, and configuration with the experts. Representatives from each of aSa’s departments will be on-hand to answer your questions and discuss the ways in which aSa’s Complete Rebar Solution can work harder for your organization.
Special Events. In addition, all forum attendees are encouraged to join us for special events, such as evening hospitality nights and our special anniversary dinner.
We recommend sending at least one representative from each key area of your business, including estimating, detailing, production, and accounting. Not only will you learn better ways to use the software you have now, your ideas will shape future versions of aSa solutions. As much of our focus will be on customer feedback and future development, we encourage owners, supervisors, and decision-makers to attend.
The benefit of networking with others in your industry is also very important. For example, contract estimators and detailers often acquire new clients at the forum, and fabricators share many helpful ideas that can lead to operational improvements and bigger profits. Ideally, every operating location served by aSa should be represented by at least one person.
Simply click Register Now and fill out the online form. aSa will issue an invoice for your registration fee. All available discounts will appear on your invoice.
Registration. The registration fee is $1,395 per person. Spouse/non-company guests are $345. These fees are used to defray the costs of meals, meeting rooms, and audio/video equipment. All other expenses are funded by a portion of your Client Care subscription.
Multiple Employee Discount.
Additional discounts apply if five or more people attend from the same company. For 5 to 10 employees, each employee from qualifying companies will receive $200 off the regular registration rate. For 11+ employees, each employee will receive $300 off.
Hotel Rooms.
Hotel rooms are $165 per night for single and double occupancy. Triple occupancy is $175 and quad is $185. This is a special rate for forum guests and reflects a discount compared to the Sheraton’s normal room rates. Note: Discount event hotel rates are only guaranteed until February 13, 2019.
On Monday, March 18, ProRebar and ProConcrete users are invited to a special full-day, pre-forum meeting with aSa and Bentley product designers, developers, and consultants. The purpose of this all-day session is to review new features and functionality and to brainstorm and prioritize the future development of the product.
Note that the session is designed to obtain feedback from existing users. For additional details, please contact our CAD team at cadsupport@asaHQ.com. The cost to attend the Monday session only is $295. If you register for the full forum, there is no additional cost to attend Monday's meeting.
Additionally, all forum attendees are invited to hospitality 7:00 - 11:00 PM Monday evening at the Sheraton.

All forum meetings and events are at the Sheraton Station Square. Station Square is a complex of shopping, dining, and entertainment venues built within and around a historic railroad station. It’s right on the river with a great view of the city. Other Pittsburgh attractions are within walking distance or a short taxi or transit ride away. Additionally, the forum app will have a list of “Don’t Miss” things to do in the ‘Burgh.
All registrants will receive a special aSa 50th anniversary shirt. Additionally, registration covers all of your breakfasts and lunches during the forum; evening hospitality suites; and dinner on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
Dress comfortably. Business casual or jeans are perfectly acceptable. Temperatures in Pittsburgh in the spring vary greatly and may be anywhere between 30 and 65 degrees, so remember to bring a jacket.
